MEDIAWAVE Summer Arts Workshops and Community Gathering

In the spirit of the "slow water..." movement, we invite our sympathizers to work together in the middle of summer. Adults and children alike are invited to the bird paradise of Somogyfajsz, to an unusual and wonderful natural resort, which is both a swamp and a wildlife reserve, and one of the last places of pastoral culture. Here, we can not only practice the practices of living in nature, which is slowly fading into oblivion, or try to let nature, living and sprawling, take over our artistic activities, but also experiment with how to free ourselves from our dependence on mobile phones and FB, at least for this week. These can be serious - but certainly voluntary - experiments for individuals to seek and develop a more nature-identical lifestyle. If we can't do and live all this permanently, let's at least dive in intermittently to know what would be good, desirable, natural.

If you have been touched and inspired by the spirit of our summer community event and you feel ready to take action to create a different way of being together, please join us and don't hesitate to write down your ideas. No need to think big: dare to think small, dare to slow down!

PHILOSOPHY We are devoted to create a free-spirit, independent and more sustainable society. We base ourselves on the community power. We ask you: try not to create waste, bring your own cutlery, cup, and share your homemade food with the others!

You can apply for several workshops during the one-week Gathering, you can find info about each clicking ot their title. You can apply until the last minute to the Gathering. Early bird application until 20 June 2024!
